Suggested Pathway
- Build basic HSE knowledge: hazards, controls, PPE, permits, emergency arrangements and incident reporting.
- Learn site documentation: risk assessments, JSA / JHA, toolbox talks, permits, inspection records and corrective actions.
- Develop key topic confidence: work at height, confined spaces, lifting, scaffolding, heat stress, fire safety and excavation basics.
- Gain practical site exposure under supervision where possible.
- Prepare a simple HSE CV showing training, site experience, inspections, communication skills and examples of corrective actions followed up.
- Practise interview questions linked to site hazards, permits, heat stress, work at height, emergency response and reporting.
