What this preparation course covers
Advanced rigging preparation for complex lifting operations, planning interface, critical lift awareness, lift team control and higher-level rigging judgement.
Common preparation focus: Rigger I is normally treated as the senior/advanced rigging level for complex lifts, heavy lifts and higher-risk lift planning support. Key study areas include GI 7.028-style critical lift controls, detailed lift plans, personnel roles and pre-lift meetings.

- Critical lift planning principles
- Rigging diagrams and load path review
- Ground bearing and crane position awareness
- SIMOPS and exclusion zones
- Pre-lift meeting and stop-work triggers
Exam Requirement Focus
- Understand critical lift and non-routine lift controls
